I want to take a Disney Cruise. We have been to the World and the Land but never the Sea. I had wanted to go this summer but with Phil getting married it isn’t in the cards. I don’t expect the kids to come home for the holidays this year. So guess what we are going to do. I think we will be spending the holidays with the Mouse on the Mexican Riviera. I have talked to the Disney Cruise people and they assure me that Santa does make a stop on the ship – very important to me.
The food on the Disney Cruise line is second to none. And everyone who knows me and my love of Disney knows my love of good food is a close second. That is why we spend so much time at the World when we go. Too many restaurants to choose from and I don’t want to miss one meal. There is the food and then there is escaping from reality for a few days. That is nice too. When you are at Disney the real world ceases to exist. Maybe I should book a room from now until the election so I don’t have to continually listen to all the petty bickering.
I am still hoping to go to work for a travel company. I have all the confidence that i could do this. I love to travel, love to help others plan family memories and I am ready to get paid for doing it.

I have an obsession. I am a Disney fanatic. I love to plan trips for friends in my spare time. Infact, tomorrow morning my favorite twins The Dukes of Lawrence will be headed to the Happiest Place on Earth. Their mom knew I had planned trips to Disney for us that rocked as well as mutual friends. So when she asked if I could help her I jumped at the chance. It has been an amazing few months helping her plan secrets, surprises and just plain fun for all of them.
She suggested that I become a Disney travel agent. Yeah right, I thought. Well after a little research, something i love to do I have discovered that you no longer have to have a degree or be a certified travel agent to do what i love. Sarah has been kind of enough to put me in touch with someone who can help me with the big stuff. I just have to fill out a bunch of forms and register with the state of California and pay the lots of money – California always wants a piece of the action!
Not sure what all of this means except in a 6-8 weeks I can doing what I love to do most. Making the Disney magic happen for other people – and even better getting paid for it.
I will also be finishing my BA up over the summer. only 4 and half classes to go. I would be done by July 23 but I have to put off my last class until after Phil and Betsy get married. Don’t want to be trying to finish my capstone project while I am in Kansas.
IF you go to my old blog www.rantingsofamom.blogspot.com and search for Disney you can see how obsessed I truly am.

Where does Sneakpeeq find these places? I am in CakeO Heaven. Cake Suzette is a wonderful find that i plan on using quite often.I was tempted on Sneakpeeq and bought CakeO’s . they came yesterday. OH MY LANTA it was euphoria in a nibble. THe flavors are intense. I was lucky enough to have in my box of goodies their newest creation – BLUE VELVET. yes you read that right they have taken Red Velvet cake to the next level.
The brownie bite was so rich I split it with Scott. I gave Drew the Vanilla chocolate one (rich white cake with chocolate chips inside) I was informed he owed me big. Scott ate the Mocha one last night but I never got a report on it. Phil agrees on all counts. Betsy has yet to weigh in.
I discovered on the last page of CakeO’s (there are 4 pages of different packages) what every adult wants Cocktail CakeO’s. Alabama Slammer, Mudslide, Pink Champagne and three other grown up concoctions.
For Valentintes day they have this promotion.
I have ordered my dad a 12 pack of CakeO’s in Red and Blue Velvet – what better birthday present for a KU fan? I thought the shipping was a bit high until I realized how much went in to packing them to ensure they arrive fresh. They put a frozen gel pack in and then they are wrapped in insulating bubble wrap then put in a box with packing material to make sure they don’t shift around. they are packed with love.
In addition to the CakeO’s the have Mallomores, Piesicicles, candy and other confections. Did I mention the bacon? OH YES! Chocolate bacon drops, carmel and bacon dipped in chocolate AND Bacon Brittle.
There is something at CakeSuzzette for every taste and budget. Their customer service is top notch as well. I gave one of the owners a lesson in Kansas basketball and bless his heart he listened to everything I said. That is patience.
I received nothing for this blog post. It is my honest opinion of a wonderful small company that I would love to see grow and flourish.

Are you looking for a decadent snack that is organic, gluten free, nut free, vegetarian, Dairy Kosher AND Rainforest Alliance Certified? OR any of the above. Look no further! My earlier post about Sneakpeeq and my love for their unique things led me to my favorite new treat.
I found SUNCUPS and bought them. I am always looking for something for Andrew because he can’t eat nuts. He gets ripped off at Halloween when we snag all the Reece’s Peanut butter cups. NO MORE!
These delectable goodies come in four flavors: Sunflower Butter, Caramel (my absolute fave), Mint and Dark Chocolate Sunflower butter.

You can order a sample pack for 1.99. This is 4.00 worth of goodies. This is to cover the shipping on the sample pack. I sent the website to some friends today because I just couldn’t keep them a secret any longer and everyone I sent the site to jumped on it and ordered some. I joked that I should be charging someone a finders fee. But I love small companies and will do what ever it takes to support them. If you order let me know. I know you won’t be disappointed. And if you are ever in Boulder knock on their door. They don’t sell chocolate at their house but according to the website they will give you a sample.
